The chalet is only a short distance away from the ski runs in Vítkovice. The Aldrov Ski Complex lies at an altitude of 733 metres above sea-level and offers skiers a selection of 4 ski runs - 3 of these are served by the President express chair-lift and one is served by the Jizerka ski-lift. This is also the location of the best freestyle snow park in the Giant Mountains.

Thanks to artificial snow machines, the complex offers excellent conditions for beginners and advanced skiers throughout the winter. Skiers who enjoy skiing at night will also enjoy their time here, because the ski runs have artificial lighting.

Aldrov is also the home complex of the Czech downhill skier Šárka Záhrobská.
